Winter Wonderland Wreath

With the season fast approaching I finally got busy and finished the task that I had envisioned last year for our daughter-in-law's and our son's Christmas wreath.  I visualized a white washed grapevine wreath and floral items that glittered with the appearance of a heavy frost or snow dusted winter wonderland.  It was not until this season that I was able to add more items and the perfect ribbon to my collection for the completion of this wreath.  A relocation has put a creative halt to my progress with many projects since my craft room has been disassembled and still sits in boxes waiting for a space to be reorganized in our temporary living conditions.  The woods behind our home in Sewanee, TN offered up the perfect amount of grapevines in order to pull together the large,30 inch in diameter, entwined layers of grapevines that made up the base for my beautiful collection.  The glitter encrusted deer set the theme and I simply selected an array of floral stems that I felt would achieved the goal for my finished design.  I was pleased that I found the items that I was looking for.  Some items were purchased at Michael's, like the deer (last season) and glittery fruits, Hobby Lobby and Jo-Ann Fabrics had some beautiful glittery leafy stems.  And Oldtime Pottery had the ribbon and some additional glittery stems that finished off my collection.  I didn't even have to go to the Wholesale Floral supply house for my needs.  Anyone that knows me, knows that I frequent these stores often anyway! I hope that everyone has a Merry Glittery Christmas!
